Alt. Brides

Alt. Brides is California's very first mobile bridal boutique, and we aim to provide today's modern bride with an alternative to bridal status quo. Marriages and bridal style have changed tremendously over the years, but bridal options that reflect current values and style are few and far between. We were tired of wedding boutiques offering the same traditional wedding shopping experience at exorbitant prices, so we sought a way to offer brides an alternative. By offering independent designers in a mobile bridal boutique, we're able to make finding your gown more accessible, more cost-efficient, laid-back, and way more fun. And we've begun our quest to provide a low-carbon bridal shopping experience by powering our mobile boutique with solar panels.

Our mobile boutique began its life as a 20-foot gun cargo van. Now, radically transformed, from gun metal to gorgeous, visitors can step through back glass doors into a chic, light-filled oasis with hand-crafted décor, comfy seating, and a spacious dressing room with plenty of mirrors. If you’d like to vibe to music while you shop, we've got you connected to the music of your choice.

Michaela Joy Photography

Michaela Joy Photography is a husband & wife team.  We fell in love at a wedding.  We fell deeper in love at our own wedding.  We are ‘two tall lovers’ with a high vantage point, but we have also been known to lay in the dirt, because we know that you spent as much on your pedicure as you did on your eye makeup.

Lucille Lawrence Photography

I am Lucille Lawrence, a photographer and artist living in Oakland, California. Originally from Mendocino, I maintain strong roots to the community, drawing much of my inspiration from its rural bohemia and mystical scenery.

I love photographing just about everything. Marriage, babies, goats, feasts, gardens, sunsets, cities, furniture, laughing, crying; I'm your gal. My first love was performance and I see weddings and events as organic productions unfolding; creatively documenting the big and the small moments, the details, the in-between. I love staging just a bit of schmaltz but with the depth and optimism of a true believer and quiet observer.

Ella Sophie Photo

Hey! I’m Ella Sophie, I’m a visual artist, my medium of choice is photography. I photograph weddings, portraits, editorial art and boudoir - because I'm a bit of a workaholic and love it all!

Originally located in the Hudson Valley & NYC, I'm now based out of Oakland, CA, and available for photography throughout the bay area and beyond.

I studied commercial art, and then followed that with a BFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts in NYC. I’ve been in both solo and group exhibitions, and have had my images published in fashion, art, and bridal publications throughout the US.

I take a fine art approach to my work, so my image delivery is tactile, with prints that can be touched, turned, and cherished. I offer a full range of professional fine art print products. Because I believe your memories are print worthy.

Fern Foot Events

Madeline Hurst, owner of Fern Foot Events. wedding. With a lifelong love of crafting, food and design, (not to mention a talent for multitasking), the world of event coordination was just the challenge Madeline was looking for. After 4 years working with the fantastic team at boutique event company WHITNEY fusion events, she moved from the Bay Area to Mendocino to get cracking on her own labor of love with Fern Foot Events. To her, the company represents a love of the outdoors, the belief that simple is beautiful, and that no matter the budget; with loving attention, an event really shines. When she's not working on events, Madeline loves hiking coastal trails, thrifting for that perfect knick knack, and cooking homegrown feasts with her huge family.

Pietisserie

PieTisserie began after San Francisco native Jaynelle St. Jean staged a window of her mother’s home as an iconic country window, with homemade pies set out to cool. Compelled to create her own small town in the city, she gave away slices to passersby willing to eat with neighbors. Jaynelle launched PieTisserie, making it her mission to fill the need for unique and delicious pies, and to remind people of the importance of pleasant surprises close to home via her Random Acts of Sweetness. Celebrate your wedding with PIE!
