WINTER WEDDINGS.. YES OR NO?

A MODERN FALL TO WINTER WEDDING

Looking for a way to save money on your wedding well, why not try a late fall for almost winter wedding. Wedding venues are 1/2 the price, and you’re not competing with a ton of couples, but you are competing with holiday parties.

Though it’s not peak wedding season, flowers are not cheaper; they are more expensive for a florist since there are limited amounts and colors. However, floral designers are walking into their slow season, and a few of them may give you a small discount to make a little extra money during this time of year. However, since you are saving so much on your venue, which usually takes up more than half of your budget, you will have the extra spending money for your flowers. FYI, the flowers aren’t twice the amount during this season, but they aren’t as cheap as the summer.

Our one tip for fall or winter weddings is to embrace the season. Don’t try to bring in bright summertime colors; however, you don’t need to use cedar garland and make your wedding feel like Christmas. It’s the one time of the year I say to use white and don’t forget orange or brown tones.
