We had the immense honor of designing for Taking Cara Babies, celebrating the wedding of Cara’s beautiful daughter, Ella, and her wonderful groom, Caden. Their special day was filled with elegance and charm, and we’re thrilled to share a few glimpses of our work. Wayfare Tavern
We had the pleasure of being part of another stunning elopement at San Francisco City Hall, followed by a delightful reception at Wayfare Tavern. This celebration was all about simplicity, elegance, and modern flair.
The bride envisioned an airy, minimal, and modern aesthetic for her big day, and we were thrilled to bring her vision to life. Her brief was clear: all-white wedding flowers with a chic and sophisticated vibe. We delivered just that.
The ceremony at City Hall was nothing short of magical. The iconic architecture and grandeur of the space provided a breathtaking backdrop for the couple's vows. The all-white floral arrangements complemented the elegance of the venue perfectly, enhancing the beauty of the moment without overpowering it.
For the reception at Wayfare Tavern, we continued the theme of simplicity and chic sophistication. The reception tables were adorned with delicate bud vases, each holding a single white bloom. This understated approach created an airy and minimalistic atmosphere, allowing the love and joy of the occasion to take center stage.
From the crisp, all-white flowers to the modern and minimal decor, every detail was thoughtfully curated to reflect the bride's vision. The result was a stunning, contemporary celebration that was both timeless and uniquely personal.
We are incredibly proud of how everything came together and honored to have been a part of such a beautiful day. This elopement is a testament to the power of simplicity and the impact of well-executed design. We believe we truly nailed it, creating a day that the couple will cherish forever.

Brynn and Peter exchanged vows amidst the breathtaking scenery of Tahoe on a beautiful June Saturday. Their vision for the floral arrangements was to seamlessly blend with the natural woodland surroundings while exuding sophistication and modern flair.
Natural Elegance in Personal Flowers: For the personal flowers, each bouquet was crafted with mono seasonal blooms, reflecting the essence of the season. Brynn carried her favorite flower, a peach ranunculus bouquet, while the bridesmaids' bouquets ranged from cosmos to sweet peas, adding a vibrant touch to the ensemble.
Enchanting Ceremony Aisle: The ceremony aisle was transformed into a natural meadow adorned with mustard and smoke bush plants, interspersed with delicate delphinium blooms in shades of blue. The result was a picturesque setting that harmonized perfectly with the surrounding woodland landscape.
Memorable Floral Moments: One of the standout floral moments of the wedding was the escort cards attached to individual bud vases, each adorned with mono blooms. This thoughtful detail not only served as a unique way to display escort cards but also tied together the floral theme seamlessly throughout the event.
Variety in Reception Centerpieces: In the reception area, a mix of farm tables and round tables created a dynamic and inviting atmosphere. Wood vessels adorned the farm tables, adding rustic charm, while matte ceramic vessels graced the round tables, offering a modern touch. This variety in centerpieces added visual interest and depth to the overall décor.
Brynn and Peter's Tahoe wedding was a true reflection of their love for nature, combined with their desire for a sophisticated and modern celebration. From the enchanting ceremony aisle to the dynamic reception décor, every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a memorable and magical day for the couple and their guests.

Planner Wild and Lovely Events
At Ash + Oak, we've always prided ourselves on our versatility, but when Theresa and Danny approached us with their vision for a boho-inspired wedding, we couldn't resist pushing our creative boundaries. What ensued was a celebration that beautifully blended romance, whimsy, and a touch of bohemian charm.
Theresa's bouquet was a masterpiece of romantic and whimsical blooms, perfectly embodying her vision for the day. Lush roses, delicate peonies, and trailing greenery came together in a breathtaking arrangement that set the tone for the entire event.
For the ceremony, we crafted a lush arch adorned with cascading greenery and blooms, providing a stunning backdrop for Theresa and Danny's heartfelt vows. Touches of garland were incorporated as a memorial moment, honoring loved ones who couldn't be there to celebrate.
Inside the venue, a hanging installation stole the show. Garlands intertwined with loose blooms cascaded from the ceiling, creating an ethereal canopy that enveloped guests in beauty and romance.
To achieve a sophisticated boho feel, we played with a palette of soft yet bright colors. Shades of pink, lavender, and orange were accented with fall hues, adding depth and warmth to the overall aesthetic.
Theresa and Danny's wedding was a testament to the magic that happens when couples dare to push the boundaries of tradition and embrace their unique vision. As for us at Ash + Oak, we were honored to be a part of their journey and to help bring their dream wedding to life.
