Fun and Bright Bridal Bouquet

Make Your Bouquet the Only Statement Piece You Need

When it comes to wedding planning, choosing the perfect statement piece can make all the difference. This season, let your bouquet take center stage. No matter the season or location, a bright, fun, and wild bridal bouquet can shine against any backdrop.

Recently, one of our couples showcased this beautifully. They opted for a relaxed and stylish photo shoot at a downtown San Francisco hotel. The city's vibrant and dynamic atmosphere provided a stunning backdrop, but it was the carefully chosen details that truly made the shoot special.

The bride wore a simple, chic dress paired with a crisp white blazer, embodying elegance and modern sophistication. The real showstopper, however, was her bouquet. The vibrant coral and orange flowers added a burst of color, creating a perfect balance between classic and contemporary.

This combination of simplicity in attire and boldness in florals exemplifies how a well-chosen bouquet can elevate your entire wedding look. Whether you're planning a grand event or an intimate gathering, let your bouquet be the star. With the right mix of colors and textures, your bridal bouquet will not only complement your style but also create unforgettable memories captured in every photo.

So, as you plan your wedding, consider making your bouquet the statement piece. Embrace the beauty of a bright, wild bouquet that reflects your personality and love story, ensuring it stands out beautifully no matter the setting.

Two Bridal Bouquet is Better than ONE

Embrace Multiple Bouquets for Your Special Day

In today’s world, it's common for brides to have multiple dresses for their wedding day. So why not extend this idea to your bouquet as well? Imagine walking in with your second look, complete with a fresh bouquet and a new hairstyle. Flowers add a unique touch to every moment, making your special day even more memorable.

Consider having a cascading bouquet for your grand entrance. However, if your dress already makes a bold statement, opt for a different bouquet for your second look. This second bouquet can be designed to stay healthy and vibrant, perfect for those magical golden hour photos.

Flowers have the power to transform your wedding day. With multiple bouquets, you can create diverse and beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. So, when you're planning your wedding, think beyond the dress and let flowers be a part of every moment.

Brynn + Peter

Tahoe Summer Wedding

Brynn and Peter exchanged vows amidst the breathtaking scenery of Tahoe on a beautiful June Saturday. Their vision for the floral arrangements was to seamlessly blend with the natural woodland surroundings while exuding sophistication and modern flair.

Natural Elegance in Personal Flowers: For the personal flowers, each bouquet was crafted with mono seasonal blooms, reflecting the essence of the season. Brynn carried her favorite flower, a peach ranunculus bouquet, while the bridesmaids' bouquets ranged from cosmos to sweet peas, adding a vibrant touch to the ensemble.

Enchanting Ceremony Aisle: The ceremony aisle was transformed into a natural meadow adorned with mustard and smoke bush plants, interspersed with delicate delphinium blooms in shades of blue. The result was a picturesque setting that harmonized perfectly with the surrounding woodland landscape.

Memorable Floral Moments: One of the standout floral moments of the wedding was the escort cards attached to individual bud vases, each adorned with mono blooms. This thoughtful detail not only served as a unique way to display escort cards but also tied together the floral theme seamlessly throughout the event.

Variety in Reception Centerpieces: In the reception area, a mix of farm tables and round tables created a dynamic and inviting atmosphere. Wood vessels adorned the farm tables, adding rustic charm, while matte ceramic vessels graced the round tables, offering a modern touch. This variety in centerpieces added visual interest and depth to the overall décor.

Brynn and Peter's Tahoe wedding was a true reflection of their love for nature, combined with their desire for a sophisticated and modern celebration. From the enchanting ceremony aisle to the dynamic reception décor, every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a memorable and magical day for the couple and their guests.

Embracing Boho Romance: Theresa and Danny's Dream Wedding

A Romantic Boho Wedding by Ash + Oak

At Ash + Oak, we've always prided ourselves on our versatility, but when Theresa and Danny approached us with their vision for a boho-inspired wedding, we couldn't resist pushing our creative boundaries. What ensued was a celebration that beautifully blended romance, whimsy, and a touch of bohemian charm.

A Romantic and Whimsical Bouquet:

Theresa's bouquet was a masterpiece of romantic and whimsical blooms, perfectly embodying her vision for the day. Lush roses, delicate peonies, and trailing greenery came together in a breathtaking arrangement that set the tone for the entire event.

Lush Ceremony Arch and Memorial Moment:

For the ceremony, we crafted a lush arch adorned with cascading greenery and blooms, providing a stunning backdrop for Theresa and Danny's heartfelt vows. Touches of garland were incorporated as a memorial moment, honoring loved ones who couldn't be there to celebrate.

Hanging Installation Inside the Venue:

Inside the venue, a hanging installation stole the show. Garlands intertwined with loose blooms cascaded from the ceiling, creating an ethereal canopy that enveloped guests in beauty and romance.

Soft Yet Bright Color Palette:

To achieve a sophisticated boho feel, we played with a palette of soft yet bright colors. Shades of pink, lavender, and orange were accented with fall hues, adding depth and warmth to the overall aesthetic.

Theresa and Danny's wedding was a testament to the magic that happens when couples dare to push the boundaries of tradition and embrace their unique vision. As for us at Ash + Oak, we were honored to be a part of their journey and to help bring their dream wedding to life.

The Significance of Boutonnieres

A Glimpse into Your Wedding Style

Boutonnieres may often be overlooked in the realm of wedding flowers, but they hold a significant role in setting the tone for your special day. These small yet impactful touches have the power to convey the essence of your wedding style and ambiance, offering a glimpse into what awaits down the aisle.

Elegance and Classicism: When groom and groomsmen don boutonnieres adorned with pristine white flowers, it signals an elegant and classic affair. This timeless choice sets a sophisticated tone, hinting at a wedding filled with grace and tradition.

A Splash of Color: In contrast, opting for boutonnieres in vibrant hues like purple introduces an element of intrigue. While all-white blooms may speak to a more traditional aesthetic, colorful boutonnieres leave guests curious about the overall style and ambiance of the wedding.

In essence, boutonnieres are more than just floral accessories—they are storytellers, offering a sneak peek into the journey that awaits as you walk down the aisle. Whether you choose classic whites or bold hues, let your boutonniere reflect the unique narrative of your love story and the magic of your special day.

Woodland Baby Shower Flowers

A Dreamy Baby Shower Celebration

Step into a magical forest realm as we journey through the enchanting woodland-themed baby shower hosted in the comfort of our homes. Filled with warmth, creativity, and natural beauty, this celebration was a delightful fusion of brunch delights, DIY crafts, and whimsical décor, all in anticipation of welcoming a precious baby girl into the world.

Guests were invited to a cozy brunch gathering, where the air was filled with laughter and the aroma of delicious treats. As they mingled and savored delectable dishes, they were also treated to a hands-on experience with wreath-making and smoothie crafting stations. It was a delightful opportunity for guests to unleash their creativity while bonding over shared excitement for the new arrival.

To infuse the space with woodland charm and sophistication, we incorporated wooden mushrooms into our floral arrangements, adding subtle touches of nature to the ambiance. Lavender accents were sprinkled throughout, offering a gentle nod to the baby girl soon to join the family. The pièce de résistance was the photo backdrop, featuring life-sized paper flowers amidst lush greenery at the base, creating a stunning backdrop for capturing precious memories.
