TUMBLEWEED INSTALLATION
When Samira from Wild Bride in San Francisco calls emails you about creating a one of a kind dried installation, you say "yes'.' After viewing a ton of inspirations from pampas grass to hot pink ferns, we decided to use tumbleweeds and a mix of blue and pink to match the rugs in her bridal shop.
To be upfront when I presented the idea of using tumbleweed Samira was a little hesitant. Still, I showed her the example of the ceremony backdrop from last year's Big Lewboski wedding, and she was on board.
In San Francisco, every retail shop or restaurant is installing dried floral installations; it's very on-trend in the bay. Trust me, I am all for it, but no one has used tumbleweeds. We love pushing ourselves to try and discover new trends. Keep an eye out for tumbleweed.
