Nautical Nuptials: A Santa Barbara Boat Wedding Followed by a Chic Downtown Reception

From Sea to Downtown

Our stylish couple sought something unique for their special day, given that the bride is a wedding photographer and wanted to break away from the traditional setups she sees every weekend. With the groom's deep love for whales and the ocean, they chose a boat ride as the perfect setting for their vows.

Following the ceremony on the water, their 45 guests—who traveled from across California and Mexico—gathered at a lively downtown Mexican restaurant. There, they celebrated with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and danced the night away.

We had the pleasure of being part of another stunning elopement at San Francisco City Hall, followed by a delightful reception at Wayfare Tavern. This celebration was all about simplicity, elegance, and modern flair.

The bride envisioned an airy, minimal, and modern aesthetic for her big day, and we were thrilled to bring her vision to life. Her brief was clear: all-white wedding flowers with a chic and sophisticated vibe. We delivered just that.

The ceremony at City Hall was nothing short of magical. The iconic architecture and grandeur of the space provided a breathtaking backdrop for the couple's vows. The all-white floral arrangements complemented the elegance of the venue perfectly, enhancing the beauty of the moment without overpowering it.

For the reception at Wayfare Tavern, we continued the theme of simplicity and chic sophistication. The reception tables were adorned with delicate bud vases, each holding a single white bloom. This understated approach created an airy and minimalistic atmosphere, allowing the love and joy of the occasion to take center stage.

From the crisp, all-white flowers to the modern and minimal decor, every detail was thoughtfully curated to reflect the bride's vision. The result was a stunning, contemporary celebration that was both timeless and uniquely personal.
