To all the 2020 couples who had dates on the books - we’re sorry and we feel you. But perhaps the silver lining in this covid cloud is the microwedding/elopement of your dreams. No more bloated guest list (sayonara Aunt Tracy!) and now the ability to splurge on the details (move the budget from those freed up seats and put it into flowers...cough cough) becomes a day that is truly about you and your partner.
Whatever your style, we’ve rounded up a few dream venues and places around the bay area that will make those #covidweddings outshine the 200 person event you had initially planned this year.

“THE SAN FRANCISCO CLASSIC”
Where do you always take your out of town guests when they come? Chrissy Field? Golden Gate Park? Make a new memory in these beautiful spaces by hosting your mini wedding there. For any type of event, SF Parks requires a permit so make sure to research your options on SF Parks + Rec. Permits are tentatively scheduled to open Fall 2020.
Toast your love at the iconic Foreign Cinema afterward with your chosen few.
“LIVE LIKE A BALLER, FOR A DAY OR TWO”
Always wanted to rent a compound in wine country but never had 12 friends willing to foot the bill for a weekend? What about renting that massive estate on a Tuesday and host your petit vows there? Weekday rates are usually extremely discounted, not to mention the overall drop in demand for vacation rentals. Keep in mind that AirBnB is capping groups at 16 max; heed their warning or face legal action.
